I love gold, so I appreciated the news coverage this art work received. This 14ct gold painting created by Elena Zolotaya is apparently the biggest painted picture in the world. Gold is great, how you use it makes it even greater. I looked at this and I thought “hmmm…”, but it is art all the same and gold is such a fabulous metal you can melt it down and do anything with it, including smearing it on a canvas and putting a frame around it!
