Nature’s water sprinkler was out in force this morning as rain fell down upon London to herald the opening of the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show. Special guests attended the exclusive preview event today including Prince Harry, Joanna Lumley and Julian Fellowes.
The Chelsea Flower Show is known for its innovative horticultural displays and showcases the work of some of the most highly skilled green fingers in the world. Two of the notable international inspired gardens presented are Kamelia Bin Zaal’s The Beauty of Islam garden and Sentebale African inspired garden for the charity co-founded by Prince Harry which helps children in Lesotho. The Sentenbale Hope in Vulnerability Garden was designed by Matt Keightley, who designed a garden for the “Help for Heroes”charity last year.
Our favourite display from last year was the Thailand Garden, designed to showcase the best of Thai culture and adorned with many gold Buddhist temples. It was absolutely beautiful! We are very excited to see what gold we can find this year and even more excited to see which gardens will win the coveted gold medal at the show!
At Goldgenie, we are known more for our Midas Touch than our green fingers but when the two are combined, it is not a bad result! Our 24k Gold preserved roses will last forever and make a solid statement of an everlasting bond. Maybe we will enter the Chelsea Flower Show next year with a garden entirely made of Gold! Flowers for thought…
