Goldgenie are delighted to bring our customers the story of our owner of Golgenie Italy. This is the story of a true entrepreneur and another Goldgenie success story. Kristian Poliszczuk was born in Coventry, England in 1983. His Mother is British, his Father is half Italian & half Ukrainian but was actually born in England. Kristian has an older brother called Alex.
It was in 1994 that Kristian realised he had an ability a little different from most children his age. The ability was to see enterprise everywhere he looked.
At age 11 his first venture was buying sweets from a wholesalers that were nearing their sell by date, then selling them at school. Each sweet cost him 5p and was sold for 30p. He could regularly sell 20 in a day and at the end of a school week could have made £25. A lot of money in 1994 for an 11-year-old schoolboy.
From the age of 12 he worked at a local butchers shop part time and also had a part time job delivering Betterware catalogues. This kept him busy at weekends but it was his evening business that really paid him. Kristian would study adverts in local and regional papers looking for computer games and games consoles. He would continually find products that he knew he could re-sell for a good profit or that he could package together as a bundle to make even more money. With the help of his Dad driving him from A to B, he would regularly cover 30-40 miles 3 evenings a week buying and selling the games. Some weeks he could make £200 profit. He bought and sold computers right in to his early 20’s. Kristian purchased a Flat at the age of 16 with money he had earned in his younger years.
As a teenager Kristian became interested in Dj’ing and in his eyes the only option was to promote his own nights. This included throwing regular parties for his 6th form peers and also big nights open to the public at local nightclubs. This was something he did until the age of 21.
For the last 10 years he has been professionally involved in the property industry, both as an Estate agent and as an investor. With the flat he had purchased earlier having grown in Value by 200% he sold it to purchase more and more properties. He now owns a total of 18 properties all with tenants.
In 2011 Kristian married his wife Michelle and has got 3 sons, Kristian 5, Warren 2 and Ben 6 weeks.
In 2012 Kristian has created and launched an App for Apple and Android markets called The Car Park Finder. He has been approached by a Swiss investor who wishes to partner with him to make a global version of this app.
Kristian intends to expand Goldgenie in to Italy with his family presence making this possible, and is eager to create brand awareness of Goldgenie on a comparable level to Goldgenie UK. After all, Italy is the World capital of fashion, and Goldgenie is the world’s most renowned name in blinged up fashion accessories. Italy and Goldgenie are like Pasta and Bolognaise sauce. Perfect.
